It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the death of our founder and musical director, Ronald Corp, on 7th May 2025. Ron was an inspirational musician who spent his life promoting neglected music to new audiences. Through the New London Children’s Choir he nurtured generations of young musicians. He was also a prolific composer, writing major orchestral and choral works, as well as chamber music and solo works. He leaves behind a truly remarkable legacy which the NLO will be proud to continue. The world of music will miss him enormously.

We are proud to present NLO Shorts, a series of short videos for schools to introduce children to the instruments of the orchestra. The videos were all recorded during lockdown and released in September 2020. We hope that they will provide music teachers with a valuable resource for their classes.
